We can't believe the 4th of July is almost here!!!! In preparation for the holiday, we are sharing all of our go-to 4th drinks, appetizers and salads! When it comes to the forth many of us may be thinking lots of food & drinks, but we are here to tell you that you can enjoy the holiday & wake up the 5th light, bright and ready to go!
Let's talk the best tips for all the BBQs.
Bring a salad or veggie tray with a delish, healthy dip. We love a platter full of cucumbers, carrots, bell pepper, radish and cauliflower with a side of homemade hummus (check out our recipe on instagram) and dairy free pesto
Bring a large green salad. Everyone will love a greek salad, simple chopped salad or The Daily Summer Salad (recipe below)
Fill your plate with the veggies & protein. We love a turkey burger, chicken burger, or beef burger, leave the hot dogs for the kids! Next fill your plate with the veggie options. This will keep you full, satisfied & bloat free!
3 bite rule! For the things that are more decadent, use the 3 bite rule, place just enough on your plate to enjoy a few bites!
Stay hydrated! Drink lots of water throughout the day & evening. This will prevent the headache the next day.
ENJOY yourself! Be present and have fun!
